Trish; What specifically are you looking for, one of my something or other cousins was in the mining industry around that time period and it seems to me like he might have worked for that outfit at one time.
As to the exposition I had thought I knew something about it since my grandfather had helped work on the log cabin, but I never knew that the log cabin was only a very small part of it;

For those unfamiliar with the neighborhood ( like me) the location is west of the Fremont bridge and the Montgomery Burns warehouse seems to be more or less in the center of the exposition grounds.

It looks like I could spend a week on this subject, as there are a lot of web pages devoted to it. Good luck

Is there anyone on this list who may be familiar with the Lewis and Clark Centennial Expo held in Portland in 1905? I’m searching for a Chicago company which was supposed to have an exhibit there showing off their Alaskan garnets. The company was Alaskan Ruby Mining and Development Co. They contracted with a San Diego jewelry firm to cut 25,000 garnets for the expo.  Thanks!  Trish
