[or-roots] Historic Newspaper project

It says
I am using an unsupported browser - to use IE 8 or firefox or other.
I wont ( ever ) use 8 because it does not support things I use it for on my end, some things they took out because in all upgrade, they are to disable things we used b4. Its cripple ware. 
   So, guess I dont use the mews paper web on IE.
I have google chrome and mozilla.
Lots of folks, use IE 6 or 7.
so whats the deal, why prioritize a website to force up grading?

  I think there have already been some posts about this project but the site is now offically launched.

  This is a great site which allows full text searches on the images.  More images and titles will continue to be added.  Several other states have similar projects. (Utah and Colorado are the ones I am most familiar with)  Some to the newspaper titles are hosted at the Library of Congress so you should also check their site particularly for other states you might be researching.
