That book consists of the descendants of Daniel and Nancy (Townsend) Richardson.  A number of them settled in the area west of Eugene around Elmira, Franklin and Monroe from about 1848 to about 1852.  There is an updated version of the book published in 1969.  That was the book given to me by my mother-in-law that sparked my interest in genealogy.  Daniel and Nancy Richardson are my children's 5G grandparents.
