blank lines stay UNnumbered, no matter what.

as for the sisters situtation - I am waiting for reply about it, no 
instructions dealing with these.

There's no such as O.S.I. !  This will be dealt with when the index is 
released, then the researchers can take care of it.

look up Wikipedia.org   Catholic religious order - lists all known 
orders with abbreviations. O.S.I. is not one of them.
