Dear Fred,
Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know the method you used to
investigate this album. For a time I was buying old albums from antique stores
just for the purpose of finding a descendant who would like to have it for
a family keepsake. It was fun and the people were so excited. Needless to
say I was stuck with a couple of them. I have one now and it is the best
antique album I have ever seen with the condition it is in and the number of
cabinets and cdv's it has. But, of course, not a single name or clue to use in
tracking anyone who might be interested in it. It has many Portland Or.
photos and also Missouri.
My Washington Co., NE family were the Amos William Spencer b.1837, m.
Malinda Christian b.1842. They came from Ohio, Iowa, and Indiana, Missouri,
respectively. All their kids moved to other states except for the youngest
daughter who never married and left behind the trunk of photos, letters and
postcards that were saved by a cousin's family.
