Will cemeteries allow them and what is the setting fee's ?
I ask about a marker for my dad in Independence and they set up some rules 
that makes putting any marker there expensive so we decided dad gets no 
marker.

Well Julie,

That might have been me.  I have a hobby of pattern making and casting of
Brass, Bronze, Aluminum, etc.  I floated the idea around several years ago
about casting a marker that would fit over the end of a 4 inch pvc pipe.
The plaque would set at an angle of 45 degrees relative to the pipe.
Nobody seemed interested, and now I live too far away from the ones of my
family I was going to set them on.

I still have the ability and tools to make them.
