[or-roots] Rose Tompkins

[Dale Harguess]

There was a Rose Tompkins who married a Joseph John McDonnell in Walla
Walla in 1910.  Walla Walla is just over the border and is in fact where my
grandmother got married about the same time because she wasn't old enough
to get married in Oregon without her parents permission (which they would
not give).
She was only 15 at the time.
