Glenn; I trued the archives there, posted what I found in an earlier post, closest thing was a Gertrude who married in 1919 in Clark County. Only found five Tompkins even close to the right time fram in archives.

There was a Rose Tompkins who married a Joseph John McDonnell in Walla Walla in 1910.  Walla Walla is just over the border and is in fact where my grandmother got married about the same time because she wasn't old enough to get married in Oregon without her parents permission (which they would not give).

She was only 15 at the time.

Did she have children?  Besides her birth year, what other info do you have on her?

Thank you for all of your work finding Rose Tompkins' marriage. Unfortunately, none of them seem right.  Her father was Paul Tompkins, born in Pennsylvania and mother Laura Hartzell, born in Ohio.  Maybe she was a modern woman and just lived in sin, so to speak.
