[or-roots] More census whining

I had considered it was a transcription error, but I am havning a hard time envisioning turning William into Mary in 1870, unless I have the wrong folks entirely and since they seem to be the only family around who even vaguely look like Acosta or Acusta as it is in the marriage record I am pretty sure I am stuck with this bunch.
Those transcriptions are mine from the Heritage Quest images so unless someone has Judge Fullerton's original notes laying around from 1870 I am probably stuck with the above information. I guess I should page through Canyonville again and see if there is any likely candidate for Cinda's future husband and it would also be good if I find a marriage record for Mary to explain why she isn't in the 1880 census.
By the time I decided to whine about it last night I was too tired to pursue those items.
I just looked at the 1870 Census and was reminded yet again why I so enjoy working on these people which is that I so often run across names associated with places in one of my favorite parts of Oregon. The top of the page has Henry Bland and his family and I am pretty sure they are probably who Bland Mountain was named after. That will be a name "burned" into my memory to my dying day if you'll pardon the pun.

Every time they missed the mark with their pen -- time to look at the original record and make your own transcription, Les.
Merry Christmas from the census takers!
