Ran across this list of draftees for WWI from Lane county.. not sure why so many of the men are from elsewhere, perhaps someone on the list can explain it? But so many of the surnames were names I recognize from this list over the years that I thought I would transcribe it and send it on.

Latest Contingent of Drafted Men Will Entrain August 27
Eugene,
Or., Aug. 24 (Special) - The Lane County draft board has announced a
list of 78 men, to whom induction orders have been issued. The
registrants have been notified to report on August 27. The board gave no
information regarding the training camp to which the men will be sent,
asserting that its action was in keeping with the recent order of the
Provost Marshal.
