I have been using FTM 2014 since it's release on both Vista and Win 7 with absolutely no trouble.

As I was researching for the latest version and if it worked with 8, I was shocked at how many people absolutely hated 2014. I don't think I saw a single good review for the FTM2014 for Windows 8. . FTM was my software of choice since it first came out, but I went to using My Heritage FTBuilder (free "download and use") and liked it much better after the trauma of discovering I didn't have updated GED's and had to rebuild quite a bit of research and family members.
