Thanks for the post. Several years ago people reminisced about various places they remember from years ago. The Buttermilk Corner was one of them. Such great posts. My dad remembers this corner and LOVED buttermilk until the day he passed. Thanks for bringing back the memory of my dad for me!
Wish we could read about more of those kinds of posts.

In the fifties The Buttermilk Corner at SW 4th and Yamhill was a favorite of mine. There were three huge urns, maybe 30 or 40 gallons each, on a serve-yourself counter. You paid a dime for a tumbler and were welcome to all the buttermilk you wanted! I was probably one of their worst customers, because I always drank way more than a dime's worth.
