Looking for any information re: the death, burial, and obituary for my 3rd great grandfather George W. Clark. He was murdered by a nephew in Cottage Grove (Dorena area) on 27 March 1868. 
I primarily would like to find an obituary from a Cottage Grove, Eugene, Salem, or Portland newspaper. The micro film for the 'Guard'  for the dates immediately after his death in the U of O collection was missing the last time I looked for it.  
Any assistance in finding his grave-site would be greatly appreciated.
