Glen, Thanks for the info. The Shaver Family Tree I found does not seem to be my line.  Family was I believe originally from PA, at some point moved to OH and the family came to Oregon from IA as near as I can tell. And dont seem to be related to the Shaver Transportation family (although it is still unclear). My G G Grandfather Ulysses Grant Shaver spent some time as a captain on one of the riverboats, and there was a photo of him at the old museum at Champoeg. Probably long gone now. FMs parents were William Shaver and Elizabeth Walker Shaver and it seems from the early Oregonian search that they had at least 9 children but I have no information about any of them except for Francis and his brother Adam. I dont have a lot of time to research, but do what I can. Thanks again.  Fran Vlahos-Rohm

Babe I think I found some Pickler data on MyHeritage but that is a subscription site, have you tried rootsweb to see if they have any data there.

Frances Rohm ancestry has a family tree on Francis Marion Shaver dang forgot to write down the url for the tree

Anyone from the Portland area.  I am looking for my Great Aunt and Uncle.  My Aunt name was Emma Paulene Pickler and her husband was  Herman Heinrich Walch.

Emma was teacher in public school and Herman was a proprietor of service station.  Their address was 1197 E. Yamhill in Portland.
