[Imagery] Stakeholder Meeting: Long-Term Funding Strategy for Statewide Aerial Imagery

The State of Oregon has contracted with the Geospatial solutions company, Sanborn<https://sanborn.com/>, to produce a Long-Term Funding Strategy for Statewide Aerial Imagery Acquisition.  The strategy will consider many aspects of imagery use throughout the state, including how agencies are currently purchasing imagery, what types of imagery they are using, and the projects that are driving the interest.

Please join us and the Sanborn team to discuss this strategy project, gather information and thoughts, and hear about successful statewide imagery funding examples.

The stakeholder meeting will be interactive including workshop activities as well as SurveyMonkey surveys.  Plan on an interactive meeting and bring a
device on which you can answer a simple SurveyMonkey survey. This could be a smartphone, a tablet with a web connection, or a computer.

Meeting Goals include:

  *   Understand purpose of long-term funding strategy study
  *   Learn about how other states have created aerial imagery programs
  *   Provide your thoughts and ideas about how Oregon can create a sustainable long-term aerial imagery program
