Payroll Partners,


Thank you for your continued focus on getting timesheets submitted and approved. Thanks to your efforts, we have made significant progress, and we have cut the number of unapproved timesheets in half!

However, as of Sunday, 1,400 supervisors had not approved the time for about 2,800 employees. Consequently, the Director instructed the Workday team to submit and approve the remaining time for the 2,800 employees.

This is not what we had planned or communicated to you. The Director has asked that we continue to focus on compliance through targeted communication and education for those who are not approving time, rather than remove system approval.

We ask that you monitor the following reports leading up to payroll deadlines to continue narrowing the gap.

  *   PAY | Workers With Unapproved Time Review Events
  *   PAY | Workers With Time Details Not Submitted

DAS will be communicating progress directly to agency directors and leadership. We recognize that this change in behavior will require support and emphasis from all levels of agency leadership, and that payroll partners cannot do it alone. We are committed to providing better communication and direction as we move forward together.
