This information is being shared with HR and Payroll contacts as ongoing awareness around the Oregon Savings Growth Plan (OSGP) contribution issues.

Update July 18, 2025

  *   As of July 16, 2025, Workday Oregon Program was able to test the June 2025 OSGP/Voya data file and validated with OSGP that this file is accurate. The June 2025 OSGP/Voya file was loaded into Workday production the morning of July 17, 2025, in preparation for the upcoming first of the month payroll run on July 28, 2025.

Background on this Issue:

  *   The OSGP/Voya system shares files with Workday on a monthly basis for the prior month changes, and those files are used to update the monthly OSGP/Voya contribution deductions from employee pay. Due to the issues outlined below that were discovered starting in February 2025, the integration with OSGP/Voya has been temporarily suspended until data coming from OSGP/Voya is accurate.
  *   Early in February 2025, Workday Oregon Program notified OSGP/Voya of discrepancies between OSGP/Voya and Workday for some employees on their monthly contribution deductions. After careful review of the issue, OSGP/Voya discovered errors in contribution deductions for some employees that started with an upgrade in the OSGP/Voya system. As a result of the OSGP/Voya system upgrade, some employee monthly contribution deductions sent to Workday were incorrect and resulted in some employees having inaccurate deductions from their pay.

What is being done to correct the issue?

  *   OSGP/Voya has been working to resolve the issue and test the files that are updating Workday. Since the integration with OSGP/Voya was paused, Workday Oregon Program have been manually testing and validating data from OSGP/Voya prior to loading the files to Workday. We will continue to do this until we are confident the files coming from OSGP/Voya are accurate.

What employees can do to validate their monthly OSGP/Voya Contribution:

  *   OSGP/Voya participants can check their online accounts and make changes at osgp.voya.com or call OSGP Customer Service at 800-365-8494 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday pacific time. Changes made to the OSGP/Voya account online will apply in that system within 24 hours and will be sent to Workday in the next monthly file we receive from OSGP/Voya.

What should Payroll Partners be doing?

  *   Please continue to create a Help Case in Workday when employees contact you about possible discrepancies with their OSGP/Voya contributions. OSPS needs to ensure that they have proper documentation from OSGP to process any changes to OSGP Contributions in Workday.



  *   Please provide the following in cases submitted to OSPS:


  *   Official documentation from OSGP (Voya) that includes:
o   Date of the contribution
o   Amount of contribution
o   Date of any changes to contributions

     *   Agency Payroll office can send an email to OSGP with a request for documentation of the employee contributions.

  *   The employee could also ask for verification of their OSGP Contributions from OSGP.


  *   If an off-cycle payments is needed, please note 'OSGP reimbursement' on the spreadsheet.
