I'm pleased to announce Joanna Robert will be the Oregon Department of Administrative Services' (DAS) new Payroll Transformation Enterprise Readiness Manager effective October 1. Joanna will strategically lead the enterprise communications, change management, and training initiatives for Workday Oregon Division and the payroll transformation.

Joanna brings 17 years of experience in Oregon state government. She currently serves as the Communications Director for the Oregon Department of Revenue, where she has been since September 2020.

Prior to that she served at the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission managing a $19 million grant program for specialty courts. She also served as a management consultant for the private consulting firm Public Knowledge, LLC providing independent quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) services for the Oregon Department of Human Services and the Oregon Health Authority Integrated Eligibility Project, an information technology (IT) project that integrated eligibility determinations for Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) benefits creating the ONE Eligibility system.

>From 2008 to 2017, Joanna served in various positions at ODOT including serving as a community affairs specialist, legislative coordinator, and local program coordinator. Joanna holds a bachelor's degree in communication from Western Oregon University.
