Good afternoon,



Payroll Partners can run the "Pay | Expiring Tax Elections" report in Workday to obtain a list of exempt employees that may need to update their exempt status for the 2026 tax year.



Please refer to the path below in Workday Drive for instructions on running this report.

  *   Workday Drive > Payroll Information and Resources > Processes and Checklists > "Expiring EXEMPT Federal and State Tax Elections Report.pdf"

Agency payroll offices can run this report periodically to ensure all employees that elect exempt status complete a new W-4 form for the 2026 Tax year.  Employees that do not complete a new W-4 form by Feb. 17, 2026, will default to a tax election of Single in Workday.
