Responding to a question from one participant on this list about what the turnout is for our Parent Night meetings:

It varies a lot from 2 to 30 or more. Interestingly, just having the opportunity, even if the parents don't come, seems to defuse a lot of controversy. We provide food (pizza or something like that) and, at some sessions, child care for small children in an adjoining room.

We also send out really detailed consent forms - Don't want any surprises when the kid comes home and talks about the condom demonstration.
