RE: MAINTENANCE OF EFFORT AUDIT RESULTS 2006-2007

Within the next two weeks the Department will be sending Maintenance of
Effort pass/fail letters to district/consortium Superintendents across
the state. We just received the first round of audit results from Jones
and Roth, P.C. for the 2006-2007 school year. It appears that all but
13 districts passed on the first audit, and most consortiums passed,
with 2-3 still pending. Please check in with your Superintendent to see
the letter applicable to your district.

After reviewing your district letter you may contact Eric Richards at
503-947-5786 or eric.richards at state.or.us if you have any questions.

If you have any difficulty opening the attached document, please contact
Laura Allran at laura.allran at state.or.us or 503-947-5674.

Messages to and from this e-mail address may be made available to the
public under Oregon law.
