RE:  IMPORTANT CHANGES TO NOTE

You may know that the Department has cancelled the March COSA/ODE special education conference in Salem.  The reason is that registration was very low and it was suspected that the current economic education issues would make it very difficult for many of you to travel.  We will plan to make up for this cancellation by scheduling a video conference in the next few weeks on some of the critical issues we were planning to present --- fiscal and charter schools.

Please know that the May conference planned for Eugene is also being cancelled and another video conference will be held.

The Special Education Director Advisory will still be held on February 27.
