RE:  ODE to Host Webinars on Bullying


The Oregon Department of Education will host a three-part series on Bullying beginning on March 7th with Part I - An Overview of Bullying and Guidance for its Prevention.  Parts II and III will be offered April 4th and May 2nd.  Part II will address Cyber-Bullying, and Part III will address Response to Bullying through the use of SWPBIS, Social-Emotional Learning Curricula and by addressing School Climate and Culture.  Each webinar presentation will be 1 ½ hours.

Mark your calendars!  The ever-present and increasing concerns regarding bullying is a serious matter and these webinars are designed to inform you of the nature of the problem, its prevalence and associated concerns.  The webinars will further offer practical solutions to assist with prevention and response to bullying or intimidation, cyber-bullying and harassment.
