This is a correction to the listserv sent on Friday: The public release date for the 2012-13 Special Education Report Cards is Wednesday, April 2, 2014. We apologize for any confusion this has caused.

RE: Timeline for 2012-13 Special Education Report Cards and Special Education Child Count
The public release date for the 2012-13 Special Education Report Cards is Wednesday April 2, 2014. In preparation for that date, technical assistance documents, resource links, and timeline are available below.
Technical Assistance Documents for the 2012-2013 Special Education Report Cards

* Report Card formats. ODE will produce each district's report in English and Spanish.
* 2012-2013 Technical Manual for use in calculating and validating your data.
* Notes for the 2012-2013 School District Special Education Report Cards for your use in communicating the information to parents and community members. ODE will produce the Notes in English and Spanish.
Special Education Report Card Timeline
* March 7 - March 14: District Preview of the 2012-13 Special Education Report Cards
Drafts of the 2012-13 Special Education Report Cards will be posted on the secure district site for your preview: https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/.There is a new application for viewing the Special Education Report Cards. Please see your security administrator to give you access to the Achievement Data Insight Application with sub-rights to the Special Education Report Cards. After you log in, click on the Special Education Report Card button to view your report card.
If you have a question regarding your report card, please click on the button to "Ask a Question". The district will need to provide details of any correction(s) being requested. However, please be advised that ODE will not change any data that have been submitted and previously validated by the district. For additional information, please email ODE.SchoolAgeRpt at state.or.us<mailto:ODE.SchoolAgeRpt at state.or.us>.
* April 1: Final Special Education Report Cards Available to Districts
Final pdf versions of the 2012-13 Special Education Report Cards will be available to districts on the secure district site: https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/. No changes will be made on or after this date.
All district report cards will be available to the public on the ODE website. ODE will issue a press release about the Special Education Report Cards and the Special Education Child Count.
