Hello Everyone,

We are pleased to let Oregon-based National DPP Lifestyle Coaches know that the Oregon Wellness Network is sponsoring a free virtual National DPP Advanced Coach Training Event on 11/7/24 from 10 AM -12 PM.

The training topic is "Charge up the Change."  Please join us on November 7 for a lively discussion on helping our DPP participants continue to make lasting, healthy changes to their current lifestyles.

Please see the attached program flyer for the link to register for this training as well as more details about the training.

According to the CDC, all National DPP Lifestyle Coaches and Program Coordinators must complete at least two hours of Advanced Coach Training each year.  CDC does not collect data on Advanced Coach Training.  However, the CDC reserves the right to audit organizations on this requirement.

The event on 11/7/24 qualifies as Advanced Coach Training (ACT) now required under CDC DPRP Standards.
