FYI: A few weeks ago, I sent the 2025 calendar invites out.  Outlook sent out individual invitations for each month, which caused issues with the listserv. Join us for Food Hero at Home! We will learn to make easy, healthy, and budget-friendly meals using Food Hero's monthly featured food, pomegranate.  In this monthly online class, you'll learn, to prepare a recipe using pomegranate. We'll also discuss how to save money and time on food preparation, and to store your food so it lasts longer and stays safe.

This class will be held on Zoom, Wednesday November 13, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Registration is required.

Any one from around the state is welcome to join. The class is offered in English and Spanish.

Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC)
The Child Care Assistance team at DELC is developing an ERDC Family Guide that will help families understand what ERDC<https://www.oregon.gov/delc/programs/pages/erdc.aspx> is and how it works. We have been collecting feedback the last few months and would like to make sure we are getting feedback specifically from families and childcare providers.

  *   We have created a Family Feedback Form<https://forms.office.com/g/d5eSh1xx7P> and a Provider Feedback Form<https://forms.office.com/g/hZH2q2Vq6s> that can be shared widely and will be open through November 2024.
  *   We are also scheduling engagement sessions with provider or parent groups that would like to share their thoughts or suggestions. Anyone interested can contact Meg.Ryan at delc.oregon.gov<mailto:Meg.Ryan at delc.oregon.gov> about ERDC engagement opportunities.
