Hoang-Van Nguyen (Hwong-Vun When) is the first Environmental Justice Policy & Program Coordinator for the State of Oregon. She supports the Oregon Environmental Justice Council (webpage: https://www.oregon.gov/gov/policies/pages/environmental-justice-council.aspx) which is a Governor's council responsible for developing the Environmental Justice Mapping Tool and developing policy guidance for its usage. She has about twenty years of experience in public service specializing in program development, management consulting, and community engagement. She coordinates over sixteen state agencies as lead of the Environmental Justice Council Liaison team and leads the Oregon Environmental Justice Mapping Tool Leadership Team.

Eric Main is the Environmental Justice Mapping Lead at the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). He has 25 years of experience developing community-level environmental and human health indicators as a research analyst with the Oregon Tracking Program and as an urban planner prior to joining OHA. He currently leads the Methodology Workgroup in the development of the Oregon Environmental Justice Mapping Tool which includes subject matter experts from state agencies, Metro, local public health, and academic partners. The Methodology Workgroup provides recommendations to the Oregon Environmental Justice Council on the structure, content, visualizations, and reporting of the EJ Mapping Tool.
