ALERT - Significant Flight Disruptions
Safety and service are two critically important elements of the travel experience with Azumano Corporate Services. Currently the potentially historic blizzard in the Northeast part of the United States has the bandwidth to cause harm and discomfort to our travelers in these areas. We are encouraging you to suspend your travel for the next 48 hours if your plans call for travel to/from the Northeast. 3,000 flights have already been cancelled and this will have a great impact on the airline industry to get equipment in the right places after travel conditions improve.
Due to the increasing number of cancellations and bandwidth of this storm, we have launched our Severe Weather Plan.
Severe Weather Plan Includes:
· Additional consultant resources both on the day and overnight teams
· Proactive calls to travelers with potential flight disruptions within the next 24 hours
· Encouraging a greater use of the online booking tool (where applicable)
· Utilization of our phone lines for travel activity in the next 48 hours
· Updating our phone messaging to advise of extended hold times
· Operational updates to executive staff twice daily
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we worked to service those travelers who are immediately impacted by this significant storm.
