[AL-Directors] Academic Library Survey from NCES ends 2/25/09 - please help

Dear Directors,
 
Please take time in this next week to finish work on the national Academic Library Survey (ALS), if you have not already done so.
 
The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), working through the U.S. Census,  collects data biennially from about 3,700 degree-granting postsecondary institutions in order to provide an overview of academic libraries nationwide and by state. The Census sent a mailing in early November when the survey was launched.  The survey closes on February 25, 2009.
 
If you have lost the survey materials, or need more information, contact the Academic Library Survey help desk at govs.aclib at census.gov  or 1-877-749-4925.
