SAVE THE DATE: Monday October 24th 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Kaiser Permanente is celebrating Food Day on October 24th by partnering
with Zenger Farm to recognize the grant recipients of our Healthy Food
Access funding initiative. We cordially invite you to attend and
participate in this event both as a way to celebrate the great work
happening in our communities and to network with new and existing
community partners involved in healthy eating initiatives. Please feel
free to share this invitation with interested partners and colleagues.
Kaiser Permanente’s Food Day celebration will:
· Recognize the community organizations whose work will be supported
by Kaiser Permanente’s Healthy Food Access grant funds
· Provide the Kaiser Permanente grantees an opportunity to share how
the funding will impact families in our region
· Provide informal networking opportunities for grantees and
community partners involved and interested in healthy food access
· Celebrate the bounty of the season on an urban farm
The schedule of events will be as follows:
· Opening & welcome from Kaiser Permanente Senior Leadership
· Remarks by Oregon’s First Lady, Cylvia Hayes

· Stories from 2-3 Kaiser Permanente Healthy Food Access grantees
