Hi folks,
If you'd like a quick refresher on Assistive Technologies for kids, check out this ALSC blog post<https://www.alsc.ala.org/blog/2018/12/assistive-technologies-equity-and-inclusion-for-all/> summarizing opportunities for libraries to support readers of all abilities. The ALSC Special Populations toolkit in particular can be a wonderful resource as you work to support special populations in your communities.
Additionally, here at the State Library's Talking Books and Braille Library<https://www.oregon.gov/Library/print-disabilities/Pages/default.aspx>, we serve all Oregonians with print disabilities, including kids! If you have any questions about how the Talking Books and Braille library can support your kids with print disabilities, our Public Services Librarian, Elke Bruton, is a great resource for you - I've cc'd her here. Please don't hesitate to reach out if we can help you serve your community better.
Best,
Greta b
