Hello Everyone!

I am on a data collecting mission regarding your library's requirement for photo ID in order to check out items.
An example situation would be; a student comes to the circulation desk to check out an item but has lost their wallet- no ID at all.

Here is what I need;
1. Which library are you with and what is your library policy? Does the policy differ during different hours of operation?
2. Does your institution have or use another way to verify students' identity, such as a computer program with currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff? Or verify using personal information? How long have you been using this?
3. Do you accept anything other than hard copy ID, such as a photo of ID from a phone? Or photocopy?
4. When or under what circumstances do you make exceptions, if at all? Does a manager make this decision or is it a staff judgement call?

As many responses with as much information as possible would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thank you very much,
