I'm pleased to announce that Library Manager, Emily David has agreed to serve as Interim Director of the Springfield Public Library following my retirement at the end of June.  Emily is not only well-versed in every major initiative currently underway at the library, she is leading many of them.  Her stepping up at this time will insure that SPL doesn't lose ground while a director search is conducted and, instead, will continue to move forward.
