Today is the *last day *to apply for LIOLA! If you're interested, please
don't delay - it takes some time to complete the application, and it
requires a letter of recommendation.

is the Leadership Institute of the Oregon Library Association.

Who is LIOLA for? LIOLA is for OLA members at any point in their library
career, who are interested in leadership from any position  (not only for
managers or people aspiring to become managers).

What is LIOLA about?

LIOLA covers five topics:

Session 1: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Session 2: Strengths-Based Leadership

Session 3: Empowering Movement (Decision-Making)

Session 4: Producing Change

Session 5: Advocacy

LIOLA is about learning and collaboration: participants will be teamed with
a cohort and two mentors who will work with them throughout the institute
and during virtual meetings after the event.

Participants will:

   -

   Gain increased self-confidence and leave equipped to be strong library
   leaders.
   -

   Identify goals and learn strategies to utilize their strengths to
   cultivate advocacy and empower movement.
   -

   Have a support system of trusted library relationships to help them
   accomplish goals
   -

   Have a concrete toolbox to help them accomplish results.
