Dear Directors:
The Editor of Library Journal has asked state librarians to promote a new website that is intended to call attention to problems with public library funding across the country. The site is still a work in progress, but LJ would like public library directors to post information to the site about budget cuts, service reductions, layoffs and furloughs, etc. Here is the link to the site:

Click on the "report cuts" button to send in a report. When I went there today the 2010 map was not loading. I hope this gets fixed soon. Library Journal wants to promote this heavily in a few months.
