Data Happy Happy Hour happening this week
Come chat, enjoy a beverage or snack of your choice, and meet your fellow SORA members in lovely downtown Salem this Thursday (June 13) from 4-6pm at Hopheads (150 High St. SE).


Workforce Development programs are up and running
Head over to OregonResearch.org<http://oregonresearch.org/> to sign up to be a host for a job shadow or informational interview.  Then peruse the host directory to find someone to shadow yourself.


Summer Networking Mixer on July 10th
Join us for our Summer Networking Mixer on July 10th from 2-4pm at Pringle Park Community Hall (606 Church St. SE).  In addition to networking, snacks, and an all around good time, we'll have a presentation by Josh Roll, Active and Sustainable Transportation Research Coordinator at the Oregon Department of Transportation.  He'll be talking about the work his agency does related to travel monitoring, traffic analysis, data-driven safety analysis, and sustainable transportation.
