The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Injury and Violence Prevention (IVP) Section, Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/PREVENTIONWELLNESS/SAFELIVING/Pages/index.aspx> in Portland, OR is recruiting for a Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) Research Analyst to support and develop public health injury surveillance and research with outside researchers within the PDMP and Injury and Violence Prevention Section. The Oregon PDMP is a tool to help healthcare providers and pharmacists provide patients better care in managing their prescriptions.

What will you do?
As the PDMP Research Analyst, you will plan and coordinate high-level research and evaluation studies for the PDMP and IVPP Section to define the burden of overdose and injury in Oregon and help identify and support prevention interventions. You will develop research methodology and protocols for data collection and analysis including survey data; analyze and interpret the information; and report findings, including recommendations for further research and analysis. The position coordinates activities related to external research data requests for PDMP and IVPP and conducts special research and evaluation projects.
