[Accounts-receivable-news] Executive Order 17-09 Reminder: Agency Reports Due June 30th

This is a reminder that Executive Order 17-09<https://www.oregon.gov/gov/Documents/executive_orders/eo_17-09.pdf> requires Executive Department agencies (and encourages others) to submit a report to DAS by June 30, 2017 that includes information regarding the Liquidated and Delinquent debt from the most recent fiscal year, the amount the agency believes to be reasonably recoverable and how the agencies debt collection practices meet or will meet the guidelines in the Oregon Accounting Manual<http://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Pages/OAM.aspx>.  In addition agencies are to identify how the passage of SB 89<https://olis.leg.state.or.us/liz/2017R1/Measures/Overview/SB0089> will impact their debt collection processes.

The Executive Order further directs agencies to make referral to the Department of Revenue Other Agency Accounts Unit no later than 60 days after the debt is declared Liquidated and Delinquent, or as allowed by the Oregon Accounting Manual.

If your agency is NOT listed above and you are an Executive Department agency, your report is due by June 30, 2017.
