[Busmgrs] 2013-14 Estimates

Dear Business Managers,

So once again it is Friday afternoon and I am sending out an email. The good news is that the new 2013-14 estimates are out. The bad news is that it is Friday afternoon and the latest 2013-14 estimates are out.

The ADMw Breakouts are here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/transparency-estimate-4-4-14-1246-hrs.pdf. The ESD Estimates are here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/esd-13-14-estimate-as-of-4-4-14-1246-hrs.pdf. Assuming no significant statewide changes, the April Payment will be based on this estimate.

What new in this Estimate?
1.      2013-14 second period ADM, as adjusted by the December to June Ratio is the basis for ADMr, ESL, and Pregnant and Parenting.
2.      IEP Counts from the December 2013 SECC are being used to estimate IEP counts.
3.      2013-14 Neglected, Foster, and Delinquent counts are being used.
4.      All local revenue and transportation updates made by the districts are included.
5.      Facility Grant has been updated to account for actual distributions in 2013-14
6.      Local Option Equalization Grants have been updated to account for actual distributions in 2013-14.

Still to Come:
1.      Updates to IEP Waiver calculation using 2012-13 updates.
2.      Further updates to local revenues as districts review the data.
3.      Estimated Small High School Grant distributions
4.      Estimated High Cost Disability Grant distributions.
