$75 GIFT CARD! OSU EXTENSION FEEDBACK

Oregon State University is looking for adult Oregonians who are eligible for SNAP benefits and who make cooking, grocery shopping and food preparation decisions for their households to participate in online conversations about the Food Hero website. We seek individuals for conversations in both English and Spanish.

Eligible participants will receive a $75 gift card.  Please see the attached flyers for eligibility criteria and to register.

HOOTS (HELPING OUT OUR TEENS IN SCHOOLS) YOUTH ACTION COUNCIL APPLICATIONS

HOOTS is starting their own Youth Action Council and is currently accepting applications and nominees for high school teens! Check it out! Applications and nominations are due April 30th!

YAC Members will receive  $30 per meeting or event attended plus other amazing community opportunities.

This website is intended to help those in our community seeking shelter either for themselves, or for someone else, know what shelters have beds available on a given night and what criteria there are for accessing those shelters.

Those accessing the site can filter through the shelters based on unique needs and be pointed in the direction of those shelters that best meet those needs. Additionally, by clicking on the bed icons located on the embedded map, site visitors can see information about the shelters including pictures, intake information, what they can expect when accessing and other important details.
