[Big news! ODHS received a one-time investment from the Oregon Legislature to raise the maximum grant amount for Temporary Assistance for Domestic Violence Survivors (TA-DVS).     The maximum support survivors can get from TA-DVS during a 90-day period has increased from $1,200 to $3,200.     These funds can be used for things to keep families safe, including deposits for rent or utilities, new locks, security cameras, alarms, replacing items left behind such as clothing or furniture, and more. ECC/CCAN First Friday - ECC/CCAN Primer viernes

Join a fun-filled evening of connection and celebration at the Communities of Color and Allies Network (CCAN) First Friday! All are welcome at this all-ages event with free food, networking opportunities, lawn games, and a sensory booth. Hosted in collaboration with Willamalane and Lane Transit District, with special guests from the Eugene/Springfield NAACP, you'll have a chance to learn about local parks and recreation, transportation options, and small businesses. Bring your family and loved ones to connect with others in a relaxed, safe space where you can make new friends and build meaningful relationships.

  *   Willamalane Adult Activity Center (215 W C St, Springfield)
  *   Free, and no registration is required—just stop by!

PEER Shelter is our newest program! PEER is a low barrier shelter for folks aged 16-24 with a focus on meeting people where they’re at.

We approach care with a harm reduction lens in order to reduce the barriers that often accompany staying at overnight shelters. Part of being low-barrier includes having 8 beds that are set up specifically for pet owners who are otherwise unable to access shelter services.

Case management is not a requirement of someone's stay however, we do have two case managers on site to assist folks in whatever their goals may be! In addition to case management, PEER shelter has a nurse who can assist folks in addressing medical concerns and facilitating referrals to medical treatment.

Located at 2517 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Eugene, OR 97401. PEER is often full, so call ahead to make sure they have space before making the trek! (541) 342-4293.

Lane County coordinates this program in partnership with Stormwater Protection Systems to help area businesses maintain their parking lot drains at a discounted price. Sign up by October 31, 2024!

  *   Professional cleaning of a parking lot standard basin is $68 per drain
  *   Prevent parking lot flooding and reduce water pollution
  *   Maintenance records submitted automatically

The monthly benefit for each eligible child is $40, or a summer total of $120.

Children are eligible if:

  *   Their household already participates in SNAP, TANF or OHP
  *   They go to a school that offers the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) and their household meets the income requirements for free or reduced-price meals
  *   They attend a school that offers the NSLP or SBP and is enrolled in migrant programs, experiencing homelessness, participating in Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations, or attending Head Start

About 70% of children will have streamlined access to Summer EBT, but around 30% will need to apply. Summer EBT payments should begin in June of this year.

This website is intended to help those in our community seeking shelter either for themselves, or for someone else, know what shelters have beds available on a given night and what criteria there are for accessing those shelters.

Those accessing the site can filter through the shelters based on unique needs and be pointed in the direction of those shelters that best meet those needs. Additionally, by clicking on the bed icons located on the embedded map, site visitors can see information about the shelters including pictures, intake information, what they can expect when accessing and other important details.
