Increase in overdoses reported this week from a batch of fetty that "sneaks up" --

Reports say it is not until around the 3rd hit that they feel things,
which causes people to use more than usual and accidentally overdose.
☆ Start with a small amount to gauge strength, and wait longer than usual before taking more
☆ You can always take more, you can never take less
☆ Have a friend nearby with Narcan handy
☆ If you are using with a friend, stagger use so one person is alert with Narcan ready just in case.

The group will be open to folks of all gender and sexual identities who have experienced sexual violence.

[cid:image016.png at 01DB5083.AA5C38B0]In January 2025,  NAMI Lane County’s Peer Connection Recovery Support groups are back to every Wednesday from 630-8pm online.
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group<https://namilane.org/nami-connection/> is a free, peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by trained leaders who’ve been there.
NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure you and others in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to get what you need.

  *   Free of cost to participants
  *   Designed for adults (18+) with mental health conditions
  *   Led by people with mental health conditions
  *   90 minutes long and meets weekly
  *   No specific medical therapy or treatment is endorsed
  *   Confidential
One-time registration is required for EACH group and attendance is on a first-come, first-serve basis so please login early!
