City of Eugene Youth Empowerment Programs have a lot of great things happening this Fall, including the opening of a teen center at Washington Park!

A safe, welcoming space for youth to connect, learn and grow. Offering recreational activites, educational programs, and a supportive environment, the center empowers teens to build friendships, develop skills and engage in their community!

There will be speakers from City of Eugene Adaptive Recreation and Unified Sports sharing with parents about opportunities for their students to get involved in community recreation. There will also be an opportunity for parents to ask questions in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The Neurodiversity Family Support Night is hosted by parents and open to families and educators across Lane County. Dinner and childcare will be provided. This training will be in English and Spanish interpretation is available upon request.

Families do not have to be associated with The Arc to take advantage of this free respite program. The Arc Lane County provides this program to children who experience developmental disabilities, mental health or behavioral health concerns the fourth Saturday of every month, thanks to a grant from the Lane County System of Care.
