A Civil Surgeon is a licensed physician designated by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to perform immigration medical exams.
These exams assess vaccination records, communicable diseases, and mental and physical health and are required for individuals applying for U.S. permanent residency (green card).
