*       Establishes relationships with employers to help educate them on the benefits of hiring justice involved individuals.
*       Meets with employers to learn their needs, and to actively seek qualified justice involved applicants for job openings.
*       Work directly with the Oregon Department of Corrections to introduce resources, training and job opportunities for justice involved individuals
*       Collaborates with community partners to support the planning, execution and impact on our shared mission.
*       Brings program alum, employer and union representatives into prison to speak about hiring justice-involved individuals.

Over a 2 week period, there is an intense 55 hour training by certified TIP National Trainers on Emotional First Aid and Practical Care Support. After completion, volunteers enter into a 3-Month Field Training Program where each trainee is paired up with a veteran volunteer. After the completion of the field training program, trainees graduate as TIP Volunteers. This ensures that all volunteers are well prepared and ready to respond to 911 Emergency Calls with confidence and assurance.

Looking for someone passionate about active transportation, community engagement, and making it safer and easier for students to walk, bike, and bus to school.
This position works closely with students, families, school staff, local governments, and community partners to support a culture of safe, healthy transportation. Salary range is $22.77-$29.96 per hour, and we're excited to find someone who can help grow this important program.
