Message to individuals:
Oregon's Common Core State Standards (CCSS) implementation will require a group of dedicated and committed leaders that represent the various sectors of the Oregon education enterprise. This CCSS Stewardship Team will consist of approximately 25-30 stakeholders appointed by the Superintendent of Public Instruction.  Please consider making a nomination to this team of leaders who will facilitate wise implementation of the Common Core State Standards for the benefit of Oregon's citizenry now and in future decades.  Superintendent Castillo's letter outlines her vision for the Stewardship Team.

Please give consideration to nominating a person who meets the vision of the CCSS Stewardship Team and return the attached form to Carla Martinez by March 28, 2011.  If you have any questions about the process, please contact me.
