Hello ASOs,
We have made a few updates to the OBIEE request form for a single-user and the OBIEE multi-user request form. The new OBIEE request form for a single-user may be found at our website located here https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Pages/Syst-security.aspx under OBIEE request form.
Starting today, February 24, 2021, please use this version when submitting any OBIEE requests moving forward.
The following changes were made to the OBIEE request form:
1. The most notable change made to the OBIEE request form is that the OBIEE user ID and the user's email address are no longer linked. If your agency is a non-sync agency, _SS will need to be added to the OBIEE User ID field. If your agency is a sync agency, the OBIEE user ID will agree with the user's email address. If there are any questions about whether your agency is sync or non-sync, please contact your agency's IT department.
2. Systems Security has added 'revoke' options under type of OBIEE review on the updated request form. As mentioned earlier, a revoke request is not needed if a user has a new RACF or if the user has changed positions within the same agency. It will be the responsibility of the ASO to complete a revoke request if a current user's OBIEE access is no longer needed.
3. The instructions below the request form have been updated. Please take some time to review the updated instructions.
The OBIEE multi-user request form has also been updated to remove the link between email and OBIEE user ID. Please email the Systems Security inbox if you need a copy of the OBIEE multi-user request form, if you will be submitting a request of 5 or more users.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you,
Systems Security Team
