January 3, 2021 - Multnomah County (Portland) - 2021 #1
Angel Christopher Martinez arrested for fatally shooting his brother, Christian Martinez.  When contacted by police he said he was the person that shot his brother and said he had recently purchased the revolver and that his brother looked at the gun and said it wasn't working so Angel Martinez took the gun and pulled the trigger, stating that he had loaded the gun when he got it and that he didn't know it was still loaded.

January 5, 2021 - Lane County (Springfield) - attempted
Attempted Homicide.  Neighbors and family called police to say that Randy Morphew (44) had returned to his mother's house after previously having threatened and confronting her about money.  When officers arrived, they found Morphew on the front steps of the trailer covered in blood, yelling comments about hoping his mother had died.  V had serious physical injuries including facial fractures, lacerations and an internal brain bleed.

December 24, 2020 - Klamath County (Bonanza)
Officers found the body of Troy Allen Gordon (54) and investigated a "suspicious death," later ruling it a homicide.  During the investigation, they interviewed the victim's brother, John Bartlett Gordon Jr. (56) who was later found deceased with self-inflicted injuries
