 *   FY 2008 – FY 2009 Funding Status.  Wave 13 for FY 2009 and Wave 61 for FY 2008 will both be released this week.  Pending an FCC decision on roll-over funding, FY 2009 funding is still Priority 1 only.  Priority 2 funding at 87% for FY 2008 is still undetermined.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Three of the eight SLD workshops scheduled for this fall are already fully subscribed; schedules for two have still not been finalized.  Two key FCC appointments have been made to the positions of Managing Director and General Counsel.  Two additional individuals have been suspended from the E-rate program.


 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated July 17th – Non-Regular Waves.   The SLD reviewed several types of non-regular funding waves and discussed how they can be tracked on the SLD Web site.
