[Erate] FCC Seeks Input on Empowering Parents and Protecting Children in an Evolving Media Landscape.

This afternoon the FCC release a Notice of Inquiry regarding Media Safety. This NOI encompasses many different media types, and is not specific to the Protecting Children in the 21st Century Act, but mentions the Act and has a section dedicated to children's media literacy and the role of parents, teachers, and the DOE in ensuring age appropriate media literacy. It is my opinion that this may be a precursor to the NPRM, as they appear to be seeking comments on what is currently happening in homes and schools, as well as input on the best methods and timeframes for teaching media literacy. I'm forwarding it to all of you so that you can have the opportunity to comment, or simply monitor the issue.
